There are two main beaches for Cabo Roig, Cala Caleta and Cala Capitan. Cala Caleta is beside the marina and Cala Capitan is on the other side of the Cape (Cabo), both can be seen on the satellite map above.
Also nearby are the beaches of Campoamor, La Zenia beach and Playa Flamenca beach, there are also a couple of tiny beaches which can be reached from the promenade between Aguamarina and Campoamor.

Cabo Roig now has its own small market held on Thursdays (approx 8am - 2pm), it is held on Calle del Fuego off Calle del Mar, close to the Medical Centre, Bar Med and Puccinis restaurant. For bigger markets you can head to Playa Flamenca market, held on Saturdays or Torrevieja market, held on Fridays.
The popular Cabo Roig Strip is a row of shops, bars and restaurants located in the Aguamarina section of Cabo Roig, it is situated along both sides of the main N-332 coast road between La Zenia and Dehesa de Campoamor, and also along the sea-side on Calle del Mar. The 'Strip' has a wide selection of bars, pubs, restaurants and 'todo' style chinese shops.
Whatever your choice in food, you should find something to suit, apart from traditional Spanish food, there is Chinese, Indian, Italian, Hungarian, Mexican, Argentinian, plus of course English and Irish style cooking. The most popular of the bars and pubs are the Bushwacka, which gets very packed in the summer months and has live music virtually every night, Bar Med (for football), the Bog Road, and the Queen Vic (Queen Victoria) where you can get the best value breakfast.
